All:
I guess I would not be opposed to such a thing, but I do have some concerns.
1. Last I knew, there was a list moderator. I believe his name was Richard
or Robert Scott, but I could be mistaken on that. I would think the current
moderator should be informed of, and possibly involved with, any decision
regarding a possible switch in list location. I also strongly believe that
any moderators should be acknowledged sincerely for their services, since
moderating a list is often one of those thankless jobs.
2. I think it would be important to be sure that the problems we currently
are having would not be duplicated on other list web sites. Perhaps they
wouldn't, but we would want to be sure.
3. All current list members would have to be informed in plenty of time
regarding any new list info. ... This is another reason for having our
current moderator involved in any transition, since he would have a list of
current members. I have seen lists change homes, and recall a lot of folks
being lost in the process if they have not been given ample notice, and a
significant window of time in which to make needed changes on their end.
Just my thoughts.

Sounds good and like a plan to me and would gladly be one of the moderators
if no one else wants.
