Harry:
I have answers to two of your problems (I've never had the Google problem occur so I can't answer that). And actually, both problems 1) and 2) utilize the same solution. Here it is, step-by-step:

1) Go to your desktop.
2) From the desktop, press the Windows key which will bring up a search box.
3) In the search box, type "Internet Options" without the quotes and press the Enter key on the only result.
4) Tab down to where it says "Home Page" (I think it's the second tab) and press the Delete key.
5) Tab down to where it says "OK" and press the Enter key.

That's it! You can also reach the Internet Options from your Tools menu inside Internet Explorer 11. Good luck!

Hi all,
I'm using jaws 12, and internet explorer 11, on a windows 7 laptop.
I have 3 problems I need help with.
1. I want no home page on internet explorer when I open it.
I want it to say about:blank
that way, you get a blank page when IE launches.
2. Every time I launch internet explorer, I get a search, and I don't
want that either.
3. When I go to
www.google.com
I can't use the edit field. It keeps saying unavailable.
So, how do I solve these 3 problems?
Harry
