Thank you Steve for forwarding this article on the Braille Monitor.  I for one agree right down the line with Kurtis on every point he makes.  If his article scares some off from trying the iPhone, then I would say the iPhone most likely was not a solution for them.  I am a proponent of truth in advertising, and cannot stand people who tell you how great a solution a product is for you, leaving out all the struggles they had with the item.  I like to have an idea what I am signing on for and truly appreciate those who are honest and upfront about the challenges they faced with any particular technology they have adopted.  Oh yes, many say that one individual's experience with a technology may not represent what someone else will experience.  That is fine. Still tell me the whole truth about your experience and let me decide from there if I want to give it a try.  If I decide not to try something based on feedback on that item from another user, so be it.  At least I got to decide for my self.  .
