May Allah (swt) grant him peace in the next life. Alhagi Babou Samba 's
contributions to the religious institution and the common person in our area
was so great that only Allah can reward him.
What would a local Gammoh be without his participation? He was a close friend
of my dad and and my grandfather (Alhagi Yousef Jacobs) and a mentor to many
young people.
Thank God we have tapes of him . Ebou Secka , at a time like this ,I think it
would be appropriate to share parts of his autobiography with us or even sell
copies of your writings to those of us who are interested. He was definitely a
piece of Gambia's history.
