I would recommend outlook, especially if you plan to sync your Email on
the PC with a mobile device, such as a smart phone, as Outlook works
very well for this purpose.

Windows Live Mail is the follow on to Outlook Express from Microsoft.
It's free and runs under Windows 7.

Outlook is another option from Microsoft, but it isn't free.

Thunderbird from Mozilla will also run under Windows 7. It is also free.
