Pat, that Globe scout was a solid transmitter for the price. I owned a
DX-40 which was in the same general league as the Globe scout, except I
think the Globe scout was a little better rig. Didn't the Globe scout have
plate modulation? The DX-40 used controlled carrier modulation, which was
not as good.
