I can't speak to the directory assistance as I have never tried it, but I do not think it is offered. the calls however are awesome and there is no time limit. I hav been on the phone for hours and the only limiting factor is the battery on my phone. magic jack is not perfect, but the calls are good. the question is why is your roadrunner call quality so bad. if you have a lousy internet connection with dropped packets, nothin will work. Remember your internet connection is why you have bad call quality in almost all cases. if you like time warner, get them to replace your modem or get a tech out to fix it, as you likely have othe serious connectivity issues which you would not notice just reading E mail or surfing.
