Hi Folks,

 

I have been through the programming software interface for the BAOFENG UV-3r
radio.  However, every time I send the programming updates to  the radio and
re-read the configuration, it appears that the channels did not get
programmed.

 

I know this because when I read back the configuration , it does not have
the changes I made.

 

I have The prolific USB to serial cable.  Windows XP Professional Service
Pack 3.  And the software says it can communicate with the radio.

 

I wonder what might be happening.  I have changed the BAUD rate and nothing.
