Some night when I am tuning across 80 meters and hear
this monster roar of music, profanity cat calls and folks who
are sending strings of dits while sweeping the VFO back and
forth across the frequency, I'll be glad they are all
concentrating on one frequency, leaving the rest for civilization
and I'll wonder who started it by taking the law in to their own
hands. I will also say to myself, "Wow. They sure are keeping
the air free of idiots. I'm glad they are watching out for the
rest of us." Then I'll go into the most contented sleep, knowing
that amateur radio is in good hands and nobody acts immaturely.
