The XYL wishes to get me a micro for my Birthday, and I don't know
what really does sound good. I am using the 590, as you all know and
how, :) and I want a microphone that I don't have to hold since it is
likely I will be running the North Dakota weather net on some days,
and want my hands free to "braille" all of the check ins, etc. :)
So, anyone have an idea what sounds terrific and is and is desk mountable?

thanks!

(btw) tell me what is your favorite mic. I have had Shure 444D,
d104, MC85, MC50, and I am not saying I wouldn't want one again, but
I need recommendations of what people really like, and since there
will be at least 30 guys hearing me while I am net control, I don't
want fatigue to set in. :)

Curt
