I want to thank you Tom for kind of taking over. Noise is still bad here
but it doesn't seem to be a human generated noise. Perhaps there really are
propagation gods and they're ticked at us for some reason. <GRIN>

Very 73 to all.

Subject: Some notes on attempted cross-country net today

Hi, everyone.

I suspect that Kevin (K7RX) may weigh in on this, but the horrendous
conditions on 20 meters continued today.

Kevin, who attempted net control, actually sounded reasonably good for me
here in Michigan, but he had such a noise problem that he couldn't
consistently copy anyone.

He dispanded the net a few minutes into it, after which time, I just took a
few calls informally, to say hello if nothing else.

Here's the small list of folks that I think were out there:

k7rx--Kevin in Washington
wa0vjr--Butch in Kansas
kg4itd--Junior in Florida
n9kiw--Chip in Colorado

If I missed anyone, I appologize, but conditions were just not in our favor.

All stations were very up and down due to heavy QSB, which made consistent
copy impossible, or at least not very likely.

Let's all hope for better conditions next week. I just have to believe that

things will improve eventually, as we get into the Fall months.
