I was prescribed loryna (generic for yaz). I checked glutenfreedrugs.com and there was no listing for loryna. Yaz was on the ok list. After a couple days I noticed itchy skin so I contacted the manufacturer, Sandoz. I was told that "one of the fillers is derived from wheat but that there are no traces in the finished product." Sandoz said the filler is from another company and since Sandoz does not do any testing for gluten they cannot guarantee it being gluten-free. I am no longer taking it but is it ok to take something that claims gluten is not present in the finished product? Thanks.

Michelle
