Dear Listmates -
I have never heard or a digestive enzymes product that contains wheat, and I always check labels carefully. This time I didn't, and it got by me.

I started dropping weight, my whole digestive system was burning, and I was getting the trots. I finally started checking everything I take (I have to take enzymes with each meal), and the Natrol Digest Support capsules bottle contains an enzyme, Amylase, that the company later told me (when I called) is grown on wheat.

That explains why I have been sick and dropping weight the last few days (since I bought it). I won't make the same mistake twice. I have always checked ingredients, but for some reason I thought the enzyme caps were gluten-free. I react to even tiny trace amounts, badly.
