I agree with all of that.  My only addition is that neither of the 2 parties 
give a darn about us.

What we need is a real alternative; fat chance of that when the average 
amount needed to run for house of representatives is over 1 million dollars, 
for US senate 10 million dollars and for President: who knows!  If the 
rumors about the Koch brothers are true, they pledged 8 billion for Sara 
Paylon in 2012.  Now I don't want to even get into what she or anyone else 
might do in 2012, but 8 billion, Wow! Obama was rightly criticized for his 
2.5 billion in 2008.  In any case, you really can't believe that if anyone 
spends that much money, that they aren't expecting something in return.  I 
don't care who it is: Obama, Paylon or Yogi Bear.

Take care.  Maybe we should go back to talking about ham radio. we might 
raise our blood pressure and all have strokes :-(.

Yes, Ron, Obama is doing what he does best, nothing and talking the talk
without walking the walk.  In all his so-called compromise talk, and his
spiel about how important programs need to be cut, has anyone heard him once
say anything about cutting his so-called economic stimulus package that has
done a grand total of nothing?  Or his Obama care monster which can only
hurt the poor including the blind?  No, he barely got his personal agenda
through, and that's all he gives a damn about.

And what about Michelle Obama who is supposedly so concerned about obesity
in school children, but they are serving some of the highest calorie meals
ever served in the White House.

And what have we gotten as blind people.  If they aren't going to give
anyone even a minor cost of living adjustment, then the least they should do
is eliminate the earnings test so that at least some of us could go back to
work without fear of losing our benefits or health insurance.  But again,
Abominable has done nothing to help anyone on that score.
