Ok sounds good and will give that a try as mine makes enough noise to where
bothers me after a while when on as my room is very quiet.

So will give that a try tonight and report back.

The very slight hum for m mine never bothered me when I ran it, I want to a 
switching supply for space constraints when I moved but  I ran that thing 
24/7 and you could only hear it when nothing was running.
