Hi Phil,

Are you sure the motherboard has NO IDE ports at all? I find this hard 
to believe. Which specific model of motherboard is it? Is there a CD or 
DVD connected? If so, it is probably connected via IDE (many are still IDE).

If there is IDE for the CD or DVD drive, then you can chain the hard 
drive off the same cable in a master/slave arrangement.
