Hi
The ">" signs are usually inserted in front of every line in the section of the message one is forwarding. There is a setting and I don't remember where it is, that allows one to indent lines in forwarded messages. With this feature turned off, the > signs go away.

God bless,
Mark

Subject: Off topic Outlook Express Question

Hi, folks.

This question has been driving me nuts for quite some time, and I have yet
to get a satisfactory answer from those I have asked.

So, I thought I'd tap into the wisdom of the group here.

Whenever I forward an e-mail in Outlook Express, the forward has "greater
than" signs scattered throughout the message.

Does anyone know how to get rid of those "greater than" signs in e-mail
forwards?

Is there a setting I can change, or something I should be doing before
forwarding the message in order to prevent this problem?

Thanks, and 73 from Tom Behler: KB8TYJ
