I'd just rather use skype out and skype in. I only have skype out which 
let's me call out but if I cared to, for a few more dollars skype in would 
give me a phone number where I could be reached. The sound quality for skype 
isn't the best, but good enough.

I did a google on this and got lots of comments.  Most complaints were you
had to leave the computer on 24 7, I do that anyhow.  The only one that
I'd like confirmation on is that every time a call comes in or goes out, a
pop up box comes up on the computer that you have to close.  If this is
true, this could be a pain.  I certainly wouldn't replace my existing
phone, but would be nice for long distance.  The other cool thing, of
course, is that you can plug it in a computer anywhere that has internet,
as I understand it, and it knows where you are.  Would be neat to have on
a laptop.
