Since we're on the topic of eggnog, Silk Soy Milk makes a fantastic eggnog
which you should find in your local grocery stores at this time of year. I
have been drinking this stuff for 3 yrs now with no problems, says gluten
free and dairy free right on the container too. it freezes well also, since
I tried freezing one container prior to Thanksgiving as last year my
favorite grocery store ran out and wouldn't reorder it.
I use Bacardi's light rum (it's clear) on ice and add the silk soy eggnog.
You could sprinkle a little nutmeg and cinnamon in too, although the
flavoring of Silk soy eggnog must have some in it already. It basically
smells and tastes just like dairy eggnog, perhaps a little lighter on the
tongue but very tasty none the less, especially for us casein intolerant
people. Enjoy, Dorina
