Taking in to account that it has little use on it, I'd say it's worth that 
price, but like you say, due to age and all, no more and I'm not sure I'd 
personally pay that much with out actually looking at it to make sure it was 
absolutely like new condition.
Using the new price on almost anything is something I don't do. I know a lot 
of people who do,b ut I tend to look at the going market and a little 
thought when I base a price. Used TS-2000s though did bring a decent price 
last I checked. I haven't seen one on the market in a while though. When I 
buy mine, it will be new, if I still want that radio when the time comes. 
It's nearing, if I wanted to max out my credit cards I could do it now but 
I'd like to get them down a lot more before I get a new radio.
