Protein supplements are highly inadvisable... they are made from
either soy or cow's milk (whey), and both contain serious amounts
of anti-nutrients.  If you must compromise on the paleo-ness of 
your diet I would recommend goat milk products, especially goat
milk yogurt.

How many eggs do you eat per day?  Are you eating canned sardines?
(I consider brisling sardines to be one of THE most perfect foods,
especially because you're eating the whole animal, bones, skin and
all.)
