[Ron] I agree. As long as the baby isn't premature, a Paleo mom probably
won't need to provide the baby with iron supplements for the first 6 months
or so. After that, because milk (including human) provides negligible iron,
the child will need iron from some source. (Cow milk can actually cause iron
loss.) I suspect that pre-agricultural women provided their infants with
partly chewed bits of meat after they started chewing (gumming).
