To improve my mood, I learned today, although Gretchen doesn't know it yet,
her unsaved boyfriend is giving her a promise ring.  You know, a ring before
the next step of engagement.  Ain't life wonderful.  Merry Christmas.  The
only thing that gives me hope is if Gretchen starts taking her kids to this
church I mentioned.  That should get her attention, too, but I have learned,
some of us just think we can do whatever we wish because God is too busy to
bother keeping track of us.
