Hi.

I believe that is correct.  I used to have one with my Icom IC-751, but 
that was almost 20 years ago now.

I liked that radio when it worked, but I couldn't keep it out of the repair 
shop.  I had it back three times within the warranty period, and the third 
time I convinced them to let me swap it back in for a different radio.  I 
bought the Kenwood TS680S instead.

The Kenwood was fun when I could see it, but the accessibility for blind 
users was terrible.

I am 99% sure that you have the model number on that keypad correct.  It 
was a little keypad on a piece of ribbon cable that plugged into the radio 
right under the right front coner of the radio, as I recall.
