Hi Todd and Paleopeople,

Haven't you ever had a reaction to a food after eliminating it from
your diet and reintroducing it after a period of time?
Please tell me if these reactions constitute auto-immune responses:

I stopped drinking coffee a long time ago but decided to have a cup
because it was smelling good. I ended up with cramps and heartburn
enough to wreck my day.
I hadn't drunk wine for a long time and then had some as a test.
Heartburn and cramps again.
I had some gluten accidently when I ate some dried mustard laced with
wheat. I was sick for a week.
Rice gave me a hangover.
I reintroduced milk and got finger fungus.
I tried some seed oils - sunflower and flax - and got lip
problems/similar with certain vinegars
Almonds gave me pains and RLS in my knee and leg.

Now I have a foot problem and RLS and I can't figure out what I am
doing wrong paleowise.
I'm only eating meat, fish, pemmican and fruit and vegetables.

I hope this isn't redundant.

Paleobest,
Susan
