If you have more than 1 sound card, I'd check that in the setup option in
tools, or options, what ever menu that is, if you have it set to work out
another sound card, you'll still hear that connect and disconnect sound out
the sound card set as default, I think you can change that but maybe not, I
know I did when I had my last computer with the 1 sound card dedicated to
voice chat, the voice chat worked through the right sound card weather it be
echolink or what ever, but the other sounds in echolink, it seems to me like
the connect sound and disconnect sounds, did come out the primary sound
card. I didn't use it much so I might be wrong, but it seems to me that's
how it was. If you have USB headphones, depending on what you have, they
might need you to check in there too.
