More than a year ago I tried some Hormel Turkey Pepperoni and had a reaction
to it. I was newly gluten free and reacted to a lot of things, so I wasn't
sure what was up and just avoided it...until this week.
I tried it again and got a definite gluten reaction to it (I also
cross-react with casein, but not this severely), has anybody else had this
problem with their turkey pepperoni? Maybe it's a cross-contamination
issue? Yes, they are full of junk, but I can eat other things that are full
of similar junk without the same problem, and this is definitely a celiac
type of reaction (I have DH as well, so I can really tell by the itch).
Thanks for all your responses! I will summarize.
