How can you say this Colin,  I use these outside with not problem,  you 
still have to solder the  pin,  and when the braid is connected right there 
is no way it will come free from the plug,  the braid is held in place by 
the nut on the back,  this is  trapped between the nut and the washer if the 
nut is done up type enough there is no way it will come free,  Ask Bob 
Tinney about these I sent him some of these last year.   Take care all,  The 
plugs will be posted out next week I will post a message on the group as and 
when I have posted them all.  73 good DX,
