Join the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Program on Oct. 14 and
take action to support celiac disease education, research and advocacy
efforts!

1.	
	Register for our celiac screening - held at the University of
Chicago Hospitals from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm!
2.	
	Learn something new about celiac disease with experts in the
field at our brown bag seminar with experts!
3.	
	Join our team for Pumpkins in the Park, a 5K run and walk and
kids race to raise money for the UCCDP!

BROWN BAG SEMINAR WITH CELIAC DISEASE EXPERTS
 
How often have you wished to have your doctor's undivided attention? How
many times have you wanted to have access to experts in the field to
find out the latest in research, nutrition and the gluten-free diet? How
many times have you attended a meeting where an expert gave a prepared
presentation, only to find out that what you cared most about wasn't
addressed? 
 
This meeting is for you.
 
From 11:30 - 1:30 three experts in the field will open the floor to
questions from patients and family members, and will answer every
conceivable question on celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. The
session will be chaired by Dr. Stefano Guandalini, an internationally
known expert in the field of celiac disease and pediatric
gastroenterology, and the founder of the University of Chicago Celiac
Disease Program. He is joined by Dr. Carol Semrad, a noted adult
gastroenterologist and expert in celiac disease and nutrition, and Lara
Field, M.S., R.D., a pediatric dietitian with an expertise in celiac
disease. 
 
This is a brown bag lunch session! - Please bring your own lunch.
 
Gluten Free Bumble Bars and beverages will be provided on a first come
first serve basis to attendees
The meeting will be held  on October 14 from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm in the
Billings Auditorium of the University of Chicago Hospitals. (no RSVP
