Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that if you requested a copy of the GF Candy list from me, all 358 requests have been emailed. If you have not received yours, check your email or send me another email and I will send it again. There may be one or two that were missed in the flurry of emails I rec'd since Monday.
Also, make sure to check your local Wal-Mart's generic products (they are labeled as Great Value items). There are about 1,200 Great Value products and about 900 of them are gluten free. Reportedly, many of their Great Value branded candies are GF and are marked as GF on the back of the package.
I also wanted to share some exciting news. It was worth of doing the infamous gluten free dance in the store. Spangler Brand of Dum Dum lollipops is clearly labelling them as being GF and Smarties brand of smarties candies (the disc shaped non-chocolate type candies that are made in the US) are also clearly marking their bags as being GF.
Anyone want to join me in the gluten-free dance?
Happy Halloween,
Melonie
