the weather is starting to cool off and it's time for pumpkin butter. I have been making this for over 30 years. Serve with pb or cream cheese on toast or serve with chcicken or turkey as a condiment.....it's easy!!
Pumpkin Butter
1 29 iz can pumkin..not pie filling
1 teas cinnamon
1/2 teas ground cloves
1/2 teas ground ginger
1/2 teas allsipice
1/2 teas nutmeg
1 cup honey
pinch salt
1 /2 cup raisins
place all ingredients in a heavy pot and heat over low heat, stirring constantly. Cook until thick ...let cool and store in frig. This will last for months because of the honey. Delicious
