I should have put some scientists think. It seems wiser to err on the side
of caution in this debate than to simply say fossil fuel has nothing to do
with it and go on as usual. It bothers me that Americans use such an
enormous percentage of the worlds oil. If developing countries explore
alternatives we could actually be left behind in the future and I know wind
generation works well in many places. These resources are not emphasized or
given appropriate developoment funding.  I too hope Texas is not as
devastated as New Orleans and that everyone who needs to do so gets to high
ground.
