Ken,

Be careful, you're starting to sound more like a Democrat all the time!
As a card carrying liberal Democrat, I get things from the Democratic
party all the time that distract from the real issues, and serve to
fragment the party, so the GOP could conceivably just sit back and let
the Democratic party self destruct if we're not careful. That should be
a concern to everybody, because without at least two viable parties, a
lot of the checks and balances built into the Constitution don't work.

Off my soapbox.

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all
progress depends on the unreasonable man.

well, that sortof makes my point. the press is off on
this and not looking at the katrina report, the libby
testimony, and a few other things that would be
negative for the administration. that is why i said
they will sneak an election past everybody.
i am not anti bush, but just realistically speaking,
there are more things they could be reporting on.
there are things that they could be looking at that
would be negative for the oposition party, too.
