I react to medications (both over the counter and prescription) that contain
lactose. It is a pure GI typical LI reaction (cramps and runs).
Note that all forms of a pill i.e. caplets, gelcaps, geltabs etc. may not
have the same inerts.
Also antibiotics can cause GI distress with or without lactose.
I'd like to hear more about this joint inflammatory effect since i have both
rheumatoid and osteo arthritis.
