This actually isn't new advice. I read in a bodybuilding magazine about 
ten years ago that pizza was an "ideal" food in every way except for 
sodium. This was based on the mainstream view that calories from food 
should be 15% protein, 60% carbs, 25% fat with most of the fat being 
unsaturated and most of the carbs being complex. Plain cheese pizza 
comes very close to this "ideal."
