Hi,.
Another caveat, many motherboards will only run memory at full speed with
1 stick installed, as more sticks get installed, the speed drops to maintain
stability due to the loading effects of the extra RAM. (They don't tell you
this up front, you only read about it in the manual, AFTER you've bought the
board...:)

OK. The Intel AMI bios sez "System Bus Speed", and it means
"The maximum (dual channel) fsb speed supported by the installed cpu".

I re-checked the Intel AMI bios parameters: it still sez
"System Memory Speed: 333". I've done nothing to set the
speed.

Thanks, that is helpful info.

I can find Ultra 512MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz CL3 Memory at Tiger, but
it prices at $34.99 after rebate:

If you have further info on <same> for $19.99, would appreciate a holler.

Much Thanks,
Peetie
