I heard a really good sermon Sunday. It was about Peter saying that he
would lay down his life for Jesus, then turning around and denying Him 3
times. We tend to make promises to God. "I will read the bible every day."
"I'll never commit this sin again." then we break the promises. The
solution is to just hand ourselves over to God, making our bodies a living
sacrifice, and ask Him to change us. Yes, it is a relief to know that we
don't have to be perfect.
