Hi Anthony.

I have to say that your experiences with MFJ sound like mine.  I find that 
when you buy something from them and it doesn't break and performs as 
advertised, that is the exception rather than the rule.  My recent 
experience with their poor quality control is the MFJ 993 auto tuner, which 
tunes well enough, except that the antenna switch stopped working after a 
few weeks so that you can never switch to antenna 2.  It's taught me a 
lesson.  The next auto tuner is coming from LDG.  On the whole, I've had 
quite a bit better luck with their stuff.
