Happy New Year!
Please welcome the first new GFRAP restaurant of 2006!
The Gluten-Free Restaurant Awareness Program(TM) and
the Westchester Celiac Sprue Support Group, are very
pleased to include The Gluten Free Bread Basket Cafe
in this growing national program. Here you can sit back
and relax as all of their products are baked from scratch
by Kathy and Marisa in their exclusive gluten-free bakery.
Thanks to the volunteer liaison from the Westchester
Celiac Sprue Support Group we now have a GFRAP
participant in Orange County, NY. It is just a short way
from the Woodbury Commons Outlet Center. So be sure
to stop in before or after your next shopping trip.
Please welcome:

Comments: This wonderful sit-down cafe serves all of the
fresh gluten-free delectables from the bakery plus a
variety of hot and cold beverages. Located inside the
Gluten Free Bread Basket, a dedicated gluten-free bakery,
the choices include such items as fresh bagels, breads,
muffins, pies and cookies that are baked on the premises
daily, along with many other GF products. Free wireless
Internet service is available for your convenience.
They can cater small gatherings and offer specialty cakes
and other items made to order.
Everything is GF so enjoy!
Go to the Gluten-Free Restaurant Awareness Program web
site:www.glutenfreerestaurants.org for additional details.
GFRAP is an all volunteer, grass roots, effort to create
a network of individually owned and operated restaurants that
can safely serve GF. It depends on individuals who are willing
to spend just a bit of their time working with one or two
restaurants using the GFRAP materials. All celiacs and their
support groups are invited to help expand our GFRAP network
of participating restaurants. Send a note of interest to
[log in to unmask] (mailto:[log in to unmask]) so
that we may send
you information on how you can make a difference in your
own quality of life.
Do your part, this New Year, make a commitment to advocate
for celiac disease.

Note: Although each restaurant makes every effort
to accommodate each persons specific dietary needs,
it is still each diner's responsibility to take personal
accountability for their own meal.
