My son (age 17) (celiac) was diagnosed with anxiety about a year ago and is taking Zoloft. He feels he has always had it but finally asked for help because it was getting worse. He is a "worrier - what if" thinker(no panic attacks) Do any of you good folks out there have any experience or knowledge about anxiety? He says the meds helped alot in the begining but seem like they are not working as well lately. He is taking the max dose. School has started so maybe that has something to do with it too. He follows his GF diet very well but chews tobacco and drinks caffenated beverages and I've talked to him many times about that. I'm sure the nicotine and caffene does not help matters. He also bites his nails constantly. He is very popular, has a part-time job, a girlfriend and is in sports at school.
He does see a Dr but any advise that may help or recommendations of Doctors in Wisconsin area would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
