Hi:

Just returned from a trip to NYC to see Spamalot!

Wanted to report on my findings:

1) Gus's Place is no longer open--shame--my favorite GF/CF restaurant
2) Black Duck Restaurant on 28th St.--Chef Hector Tice, and restaurant
manager Diana Vouvoudakis took tons of time with me to understand and adapt
items on their menu to suite our gluten free diet--heartily recommend them:
212-204-5240
3) Ruby Foos--total disappointment. Over the phone they assured me they had
gluten-free items on the menu. When we stopped by, no one had a clue as to
what gluten-free meant. I gave the waitress my celiac restaurant card and
she disappeared for 20 minutes. We left and went to another restaurant to
eat. Never again!
4) Lumi's on 70th--pricey but worth it. They had a special celiac menu and
everything was cooked to order. Best risotto I've had in years.
