How odd people forget that using 2-meters for controlling things like
autopatch and stuff really is illegal, yet many people do it, and many
2-meter repeaters provide tons of things to do with tone control. I guess,
to do it legally, a repeater would have to have a second receiver on UHF, so
you'd transmit on UHF and receive on 2-meters, quite messy.
