Hi Jeff and listers,

When I was listening to the Kalamazoo police before they whent digital, all
I had to do was put in all of the frequencies that the control channel would
move to.  The control channel would change frequencies every midnight and
once I had all of the control channels in memory, the scanner picked all of
the other frequencies, I didn't have to program them.

I don't know.  This is a digital capable trunking scanner that Radio Shack
makes, and it will scan a lot of the digital stuff in Michigan that is
APCO-25 digital.  Programming by hand is easy, and even easier then Uniden,
but I can't seem to tackle the VHF trunking systems.  I have the information
on base and offset, but am looking for clear step by step instructions on
how to do this.  This radio is easy to use with the beeps, and there is no
thumb wheel or anything like that, but errows and some of the things like
the PL and some trunking perameters you can enter in on the keypad even!
