Jeff, is it possible with the Pro-96 to manually tune to a talk group. I
have the 96 and really like it. The problem is I can not figure out how to
manually tune to a talk group. I ask this question on the Pro-96 yahoo
group and got instructions, but I'm still not able to do this.

Thanks, Ken

scanners

I don't know. This is a digital capable trunking scanner that Radio Shack
makes, and it will scan a lot of the digital stuff in Michigan that is
APCO-25 digital. Programming by hand is easy, and even easier then Uniden,
but I can't seem to tackle the VHF trunking systems. I have the information
on base and offset, but am looking for clear step by step instructions on
how to do this. This radio is easy to use with the beeps, and there is no
thumb wheel or anything like that, but errows and some of the things like
the PL and some trunking perameters you can enter in on the keypad even!
