Well, just as I thought; I used my THF6A for just a few days and then I
screwed it up.  How?  That's the worst part.  I don't know.  I downloaded 3
files from I can work this thing for it but so far they aren't very helpful.
Instead of using word, they use abbreviations that I don't understand.
There are just too many whistles, bells, and lights.  Right now, I'm sorry I
got my ham tickets and long to go back to CB.  Especially when I heard a few
jerks on the radio this morning blocking a repeater intentionally.  I'll get
over it, but right now, I'm not a happy camper I bought the cable to attach
the HT to my computer but so far, the program, if I downloaded the right one
from Kenwood, doesn't talk using Jaws.  perhaps it won't until I hook it up
or perhaps I didn't download the right program.  Unfortunately, I know noone
who is a ham yet.  There will be a club meeting on the first Friday and
perhaps I'll meet someone who can help me but last night at their weekly
bull session, no one was familiar with the rig and no one was willing to
spend the time with the manual to explain it too me or to themselves.  Not a
good start.
