Thank you to all who responded. It seems as though there will be quite a
few of us traveling to Disney in the next few weeks. Personally, since it
is snowing here, I can't wait to go. Everyone said that the Prime Time
Cafe was very accomodative. I thought they might be, I got a little
nervous because the first time I went I was put in a corner. I have
gained a little weight since then, I believe it might be a little more
difficult to get me in the corner. It is a fun place and we will be going.
Besides always calling ahead and making sure that gluten free is noted on
your reservation, one person faxes Brenda Bennett ( the Chef at Magic
Kingdom) with her reservations and she makes sure the information is
forwarded to the Chefs of each restuarant. She said the Chefs then call
her.
I have e-mailed Brenda back and forth, and she is very helpful. I did go
to Disney last year. I made some reservations ahead of time and made sure
I mentioned gluten free. I the people who checked us in and my server.
The Chef does come and talk to you. I wish all places could be as good as
Disney.
Thanks to all
Janet
