Hi Listmates.

I just got this email from the "inventor" of Glad Corn. I love this email,
because it shows that companies are responding to the interest in more GF
foods! The email is pasted below.

***
ear Joanna,

My husband, Stan (the "inventor" of GLAD CORN) was surfing tonight and
noticed your inquiry on the

MAELSTROM.STJOHNS.EDU site asking, in 2003, whether or not GLAD CORN is
gluten free or not. The Original
and all of our flavors ARE gluten free at this time. We used to make a Rye
snack so when people
called in we'd have to tell them about that but because of getting more
calls asking about
gluten free products then for the rye snack so we are no longer making the
rye snack.

Hope this helps you out! If you have further questions or concerns, please
contact us
and we'll try to answer them for you.

Sincerely,
Gladys Friesen
