Firstly, I ahve to thank everyone who has poured out their support and
advice. It is scary sometimes to feel that you are alone, and I really
appreciate all of you for being there!

Things this morning have gotten better in some areas and worse in others. I
woke up and my itching/burning seemed less, although it still hurts. As I
was travelling to work I instilled some postive attitude in me, and getting
to work and seeing your support really added levels upon levels for me.

I spoke with my GI doc, who recently became part of the Celiac group, and I
also subsequesntly found out that she now has office hours at Columbia
Presb. Center. Firstly I have to correct some stuff that got mistyped last
night because it was late at night and I also wasn't feeling well from the
attack. I had 3 tes
ts done. The last one was in April, and I finally got
the results - she said that it was normal like last time (x2), just that
the TTG was a bit elevated (was 53 before, now @ 50) I had gotten retested
to see if the elevation was from the pure oats that I eat - grown in its
own field. That made me feel better to know that technically I am ok
although my symptoms don't seem to say so. Also I am 5' 6.5" - (the 5 got
left out, sorry) not 6.5'.

The itching has spread to my face, behind my ears, and on my back mostly by
the shoulder area, and slightly to my arms. (I find all of this fascinating
right now.) Anyway, I took a look at my back this afternoon and I have way
more pimple like spots than I did last night. I keep fighting not to
scratch anything, or at least scratch lightly. How long does the itching
and new appearance of blisters go on for?

My GI suggested a derm. Dr. Grossma
n, but when I called he wasn't in my
plan. (I have an HMO). I haven't yet heard from my PCP, and will try
calling again soon.

I will try to do my best to summarize when I get a chance.
Thanks,
Y
