John,

Make sure you didn't inadvertently set your radio so you can enter only
those memories set for the band you're in.  You can tell if that has
happened by pressing the band button while in Memory mode.  If it emits the
high error beep, your problem is being caused by something else.  If the
radio switches bands, you may find that a different set of memories don't
work, and the ones in the 90s are ok.  I forget how to fix that, but I can
look it up if that turns out to be the problem and you don't know how to
change it.
