 I leave my computers on all the time. I have heard the constant cold
startups can cause premature hard drive failures. That makes some sence to me because
I work on heavy Diesel engines and they are happyer and live longer lives the
longer they are run and used.
 I do shut down my Dell laptop as it seems to run hot. I also use my main
computer as an alarm clock and wake up nicelly to Nora Jones in the morning.
